Ramadan Surgical Initiative: Restoring Vision, Renewing Hope

Ramadan Cataract Surgery Initiative

A humanitarian effort bringing the gift of sight during the blessed month of Ramadan

In the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of compassion, generosity, and spiritual reflection, a remarkable humanitarian effort was successfully carried out at the Safa Advanced Eye Center.

45 patients suffering from blindness or severe visual impairment underwent cataract surgery, restoring hope and improving quality of life.

This initiative was organized through a collaborative effort between the Safa Advanced Eye Center, the Ophthalmology Department of Ghalib Hospital, and the Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association (AIMA).

The program reflects a strong commitment to serving those in need through specialized medical care, from patient identification and examination to surgery and post-operative support.

From outreach and coordination to surgical procedures and supervision, this achievement was made possible by the dedicated contributions of medical professionals and volunteers working tirelessly behind the scenes.

We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts these efforts and grants all contributors the highest place in Jannat al-Firdaws.
