Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association

Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association is a non-governmental, non-beneficial and non-political organization which was established by a number of sensible doctors and health workers in May 2008 so as to provide quality and equal health services to deprived people, and build capacity in terms of scientific, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of health workers and to develop educational and health policies based on Islamic principles.

AIMA was established in accordance with the article number 35 of constitution of the country and second article of social organization on 06th April 2010 under the number 1933 at Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and it attained its work permit accordingly. AIMA has signed MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Ministry of Public Health.
