Organizational Setup

The organizational structure of the union is as follows:

  • General assembly.
  • Managing delegation.
  • Committee.

The General Assembly is the highest and most competent decision-making authority of the union, which consists of all the members of the union. It meets once a year. The quorum of the General Assembly is completed with the participation of two thirds of the members. The secretary of the union is obliged to inform the members of the union two weeks before the general assembly.

The General Assembly has the following powers:

According to Article 424 of the Civil Code of the country, the appointment and dismissal of the members of the Board of Directors through free and secret elections.

  • Listening to the report of the Managing Committee.
  • Approval of the Union’s annual budget.
  • Changes and amendments in the name and constitution of the association.

The executive committee is an active body of the union committee that meets at least twice a month, consisting of a president, vice president, and one member.

The administrative delegation has the following duties and powers:

  • Formation of committees for the purpose of developing the internal affairs of the union.
  • Receiving reports from committees.
  • Approving the bill of duties of the committees.
  • Monitor and control the work and performance of the committees.
