Ramadan Surgical Initiative: Restoring Vision, Renewing Hope

In the blessed month of Ramadan, a time of compassion, generosity, and spiritual reflection, a remarkable humanitarian effort was successfully carried out at the Safa Advanced Eye Center.

Alhamdulillah, taking advantage of these spiritually rewarding days, 45 patients suffering from blindness or severe visual impairment underwent cataract surgery, giving them a renewed chance at sight and a better quality of life.

This initiative was organized through a collaborative effort between the Safa Advanced Eye Center, the Ophthalmology Department of Ghalib Hospital, and the Afghanistan Islamic Medical Association. The program reflects a strong commitment to serving those in need through specialized medical care.

From outreach and coordination to patient examinations, surgical procedures, post-operative care, and overall program supervision—this achievement was made possible by the dedicated contributions of many individuals working behind the scenes.

We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts the efforts of everyone involved in this noble cause and grants them the highest Place in Jannat al-Firdaws.
